What is your typical process for working with clients?
As a therapist, my typical process for working with clients begins with getting to know them and understanding their unique issues. I believe that building a strong relationship is essential for effective therapy. In our first session, I create a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel safe to share their thoughts and feelings.
I start by asking open-ended questions about their life, experiences, and the challenges they are facing. This helps me to understand their background and what brings them to therapy. I listen actively, showing empathy and validation for their feelings. It’s important for clients to know that they are heard and understood.
Once I have a clearer picture of their situation, I work with clients to identify their goals for therapy. This collaborative approach ensures that we are on the same page and that the therapy process is tailored to their needs. I encourage clients to express what they hope to achieve, whether it’s managing anxiety, improving relationships, or finding a sense of purpose.
Throughout our sessions, I use various therapeutic techniques that suit the individual client. I may incorporate talk therapy, mindfulness exercises, or cognitive-behavioral strategies, depending on what resonates with them. I also emphasize the importance of self-care and coping strategies that clients can use outside of our sessions.
As we progress, I regularly check in with clients about their feelings and experiences in therapy. This feedback loop helps us to adjust our approach as needed and ensures that clients feel comfortable and supported. I believe that therapy is a journey, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their path to healing and growth.
In summary, my typical process for working with clients is centered around understanding their unique stories, building a trusting relationship, and collaborating on their goals. I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings.

How do Immigration Psychological Evaluations work?
The first step is to schedule an appointment with me. Immigration evaluations are done for asylum applications, U-visa and T-visa petitions, VAWA petitions, and hardship waivers. Immigration Evaluations will usually take about 2-3 hours for the first session and a follow up session to ensure the evaluation is up to par. Evaluations cost $1200. I require $600 up front and the other half of the payment upon completion of the evaluation. Evaluations will take 3-5 business days to complete.
